My hubby is now twiddling his thumbs after work now that the boys soccer season is over...trying to get him to clean the garage and make me a 'work shop' area for my new scroll saw (but it's not working).
This team blew everyone away by winning REGION CHAMPS since they are a brand new school! We're so proud of them! The school threw a little banquet to celebrate and they surprised R with a framed copy of the team with all their signatures on it and a soccer ball covered with all their signatures too. They surprised me and the other coach's wife with flowers and gift cards for dinner and a movie for putting up with our crazy men!
L got a bag full of squishy soccer balls (in case he loses one!) and the award for the
BIGGEST LITTLEST FAN!
Too bad he wasn't there with us to accept his award! I wish I could of taken pictures of how cute all the boys were with him throughout the season! L would sometimes spend the afternoon at soccer practice with them (while I was at home sleeping or throwing up!) and he loved sitting with them on the side lines during the games.
Game day was always an exciting day for all of us! I LOVED going to watch all the games that we could make it to (we only missed a few) and even in rain and freezing wind we were there!
Maybe we were a little crazy at times, but it was too much fun!
L will sit with this picture of all the boys and point to them and call them each something funny!
He is going to miss them for sure....

{ben trying to put it in the net}

{the greatest soccer fans!
who even sometimes came out to the games while it was pouring rain and freezing cold!!!!}

{"coachy" and the team during half-time}
Hopefully next year we'll make it to STATE CHAMPS!!!
this next picture has absolutely nothing to do with soccer,
but who in the world do you know that is
two years old and has FORM like this kid??!!
He's amazing.

and just yesterday he wanted to play baseball (which he's never seen a game in real life...only pictures of baseball players)...he got out his plastic milk carton from his bowling game he got from his birthday and stood in a perfect batting position and wanted me to throw the ball to him so he could hit it! He actually hit a couple of them!!!
He's going to be a little league baseball star too!
okay, i'll stop bragging now....

6 little notes from you to me!:
Very cute Chelsea!! i'm glad you like the bedding. You'll have to put up a pic when you've got the room all finished.
Oh yeah, I'm totally flaky and I forgot to send the pattern home with Natalie yesterday!! I'll get it to you though :)
Great, great shots Chels of our little pro-baller and his daddy and team!! So glad you were finally able to post about all the fun times!! The basket ball shot will go down as a true classic!!! No two yr can do it as well as he!!!
You are just a PRO family all around! I am amazed at all three of you and your talents. Look at that boy--he is awesome!
are we surprised coming from a talented mommy & coachy? =)
great shot!! Bryce said he wants to play basketball...he;s only played soccer so far.
What a stud! Well, both of them! Congrats on a job well done Rob!
Amazing wrist action!! Lots of fun to come! I'll bet Rob's a fantastic coach. I'm glad soccer is becoming more popular in the US.
